HCCNJ SERVE TEAMS

The Prayer Team helps cover our church in prayer and care for people during our services. This team prays for our church, our pastors, our ministries, and the needs of our church family. They are also available at the altar to pray with anyone who needs encouragement, healing, guidance, or support. The Prayer Team exists to help people experience the love, presence, and power of God through prayer.

The Guest Services Team helps create a warm and welcoming experience for everyone who comes to HCCNJ. From greeting people at the door to helping guests find their way, this team makes sure every person feels seen, valued, and comfortable. Whether someone is visiting for the first time or has been part of our church family for years, Guest Services helps connect guests to our church family, answer questions, and create an environment where people feel at home.

The Experience Team helps create a smooth, welcoming, and meaningful Sunday experience from the street to the seat. This team includes parking, greeters, Connection Café, and ushers who help people feel welcomed, find their way, and get connected. Whether helping someone find a parking spot, opening a door, serving coffee, or helping guests find a seat, the Experience Team helps remove distractions so people can focus on encountering Jesus and connecting with others.

The Worship Team helps lead our church in moments of praise, worship, and response during our services. This team includes vocalists and musicians who use their gifts to serve the church and point people to Jesus. More than performing songs, the Worship Team helps create space for people to engage in worship, respond to God, and experience His presence together.

Welcome to Kidzone Kids Ministry, a place designed just for kids to experience God's love in a fun, safe, and engaging environment, where every child is known, valued, and welcomed just as they are.

From the tiniest babies to growing elementary kids, every child is precious to God, and we are honored to help them take their first steps in faith through age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, hands-on activities, and caring leaders who are excited to invest in their lives.

We believe church should be a place kids look forward to where joy and discovery go hand in hand with learning who God is and how deeply He loves them. Our heart is to help each child build a strong foundation of faith that will last a lifetime.

The Youth Ministry Team helps middle and high school students grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover who God has called them to be. This team serves by creating a welcoming and engaging environment where students can encounter Jesus, ask honest questions, have fun, and take their next steps in following Him. The Youth Ministry Team plays an important role in helping the next generation develop their calling and live with purpose.

The Production Team helps create a clear, engaging, and distraction-free worship experience both in the room and online. This team serves through sound, screens, lighting, cameras, livestream production, and other behind-the-scenes support during services and special events. Whether helping people hear the message clearly, follow along on screens, or engage with the service online, the Production Team plays an important role in helping people connect with worship, the message, and the life of the church.

The Outreach + Events Team helps create meaningful opportunities for our church to serve our community, connect with people, and make special moments happen. This team serves through community outreach, church-wide events, special projects, and practical support that helps people experience the love of Jesus in real and tangible ways. Whether helping plan an event, serve our city, or support a special initiative, the Outreach + Events Team helps Heartland deliver hope beyond the walls of the church.

The Security Team helps create a safe and secure environment for everyone who attends Heartland. This team serves by being aware, prepared, and available throughout services and events so families, guests, children, and volunteers can feel protected and cared for. The Security Team works quietly in the background to help maintain peace, respond when needed, and support a safe worship experience for the entire church.
