This is Us Week 2 | Discover God

At HCCNJ, our vision is to help people Discover God, Develop Your Calling, and Deliver Hope. But what does it really mean to help someone Discover God?

In Week 2 of This Is Us, Pastor James Young reminds us that our mission isn't simply to invite people to church or introduce them to religion. Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus Christ and walk beside them in their journey.

But fulfilling that mission requires more than our own abilities, programs, or efforts. We need the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Through John 12:44–50 and Acts 1:8, discover how the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to us and empowers us to share Him with the world.

The mission Jesus gave the church requires the power Jesus promised the church.

Scripture: John 12:44–50; Acts 1:8
